Custom made silicone hoses

It is possible to produce custom-made silicone hoses entirely according to your requirements within a relatively short period of time. Options include multiple bends in a single hose, a change in diameter from one end to the other, a special branch connection or production in a variety of colours. This may involve a single hose model, but we can also produce a complete silicone hose kit. We regularly manufacture custom silicone hoses for industrial applications, specific machines and vehicle models. We are happy to discuss the many possibilities available for custom-made silicone hoses.

Applications

Silicone hoses are commonly used in coolant systems, for example to connect an engine to a radiator. They can also be used as air hoses, such as for connecting a heating system or intercooler to a vehicle or machine. Silicone hoses are ideal for use as turbo or intercooler hoses because every hose is manufactured with several reinforcement layers. The polyester reinforcement helps the hoses withstand higher pressures and pressure fluctuations without bursting. Each diameter has its own maximum working pressure.

Minimum order quantity

Because moulds must be made before production can begin, producing a single hose is often not cost-effective. Depending on the size and design, a custom silicone hose generally becomes economically attractive at quantities of more than 10 to 15 pieces. For smaller quantities, it is often more practical to assemble a hose using products from our standard range. An additional advantage is that these hoses can usually be supplied directly from stock.

Lead times

If required, samples of the custom silicone hose can be produced before full production begins. This is particularly useful when installation tolerances are very tight and you need to be certain that everything will fit correctly on your vehicle or machine. The usual lead time between your request and the first delivery of a custom silicone hose is approximately 6 to 8 weeks. Once the hose design has been finalised, Just-in-Time deliveries or other stock-oriented delivery schedules can also be arranged.

Submitting a request

Please provide us with a drawing (STEP file or CAD drawing) or an existing hose that needs to be reproduced. Please also specify the required quantity and preferred colour of the hose or hoses. It is important to tell us how the hose will be used and which fluid or medium must be able to flow through it.

Can you reproduce an existing silicone hose, or do I need to provide a drawing?

We can reproduce virtually any silicone hose. When no technical drawing is available, please provide an existing hose so that we can take the required measurements.

Can the silicone hoses you produce be supplied with certification?

When certification is required, we can manufacture and inspect the hoses according to the relevant specifications and provide the requested certificate.
